How to read the zodiac forecast
How is the daily zodiac forecast worked out?
It compares the day's stem and branch with your sign. A Six Harmony or Three Harmony between the day branch and your sign's branch traditionally means easy rapport and help; a clash, punishment or harm signals change or friction. Whether the day stem's element supports or controls your sign's element adds a smaller adjustment. The same sign on the same day always gets the same result.
Why do people with the same sign have different days?
Your zodiac sign reflects only one character, the year of birth, while a BaZi chart has eight: year, month, day and hour. Use the zodiac forecast as a light daily reminder; to see how today relates to your own chart, look at a daily reading based on your full BaZi.
Does the zodiac year start at Chinese New Year or Start of Spring?
Popular custom changes the sign at Chinese New Year, while BaZi uses Start of Spring (around 4 February). If you were born in January or February the two can differ by one sign; calculating your BaZi chart shows your year pillar.
